Engineering
With the latest state-of-the-art technologies, our die design and engineering print functions have become fully computerized. We use software packages such as Pro-E for designing complex parts and DEFORM for simulating the forging process for optimal production, increased die life and the elimination of cost overruns. The Fox Valley Forge in-house engineering team collaborates closely with each customer to ensure that all design elements meet exact specification before production begins.
Machining
FVF’s on-site die design and manufacture allows us to meet each customer's individual needs in a timely manner while keeping lead times and costs to a minimum. Die repairs and revisions are also done in-house for a fast turnaround to meet customer schedules. Tight control over all aspects of quality scheduling is assured. We also have production capabilities for 1st operation and finish turning, milling and centering.
Heat Treatment
FVF’s geographic location has allowed us to build partnerships with some of the best metal processing facilities the greater Illinois/Wisconsin/Indiana Tri-State Region has to offer thus insuring quality while minimizing logistics costs.
If your parts require a softening anneal in preparation for machining, or you are aiming to bring a consistent and specific hardness to finished parts, we have the resources to meet your needs. Rest assured knowing that your parts will be finished to your specifications by our highly experienced and reliable heat treating partners.
